16 April, i employed Vasi of Top Landscaping, to jetspray, sand and seal my block paving, in the front of my property and my back patio. I had realistic expectations which were not met and the standard of work was unacceptable. The plymth was damaged in the process. It took many messages to him to get him back, eventually he came back on 17 May at 7am . I heard a noise coming from beneath the window outside. It was Vasi, he had come without prior arrangement, he sprayed over the damage area, and created further mess on my wall. He did a bodge up job and if I wanted it done properly, would cost £195. The sealant did not work, and made no difference, the sand was blowing as the same conistancy as before. There was a multitude of excuses why he could not come back, from big jobs to a 3 week holiday abroad. 8 August i messaged him again, he replied that he will be coming soon. 11 August, i wanted to know when he would be coming to rectify his work. 12 August i messaged him again. 14 August i gave him an ultimatum that if I did not hear from him by 3pm I will have to take this matter further. I have not heard from him since. Vasi landscaped my garden last year. He assured me that the turf was of good quality. After laying the turf, I pointed out that it was/is uneven and bumpy to walk on, he said that it takes time to settle, I believed him. After time, giant weeds started coming through again, grass was/is bunching and after cutting, there are sparse patches of soil showing. It would appear that the fault may lie with the preparation and bad quality turf. He told me that he was/is not responsible for my turf issues. He was responsible for the preparation and laying of the turf. I did exactly what he advised me to do, regarding the aftercare of the grass. Once he has been paid, he severes all ties and there is no way of contacting him, he completely ignores you. I am not happy with the work, which in total cost over £4,000.
